Toadvine Enterprises (Toadvine) is a rapidly growing family-owned and operated athletic facility construction business. Toadvine is a $40MM company and has enjoyed nine consecutive years of sustained revenue growth. We specialize in designing, installing, and servicing outdoor grandstands, indoor gym bleachers, indoor gym equipment, indoor and outdoor scoreboards & videoboards, and outdoor field equipment. Toadvine is headquartered in Louisville serving Kentucky and the surrounding states of Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, Alabama & Mississippi. Our primary markets include K-12 school systems; D2, D3 & NAIA colleges, universities, and municipal/private multi-sport athletic facilities.
Toadvine has experienced very little turnover and has a combination of tenured employees in addition to newly hired talent in key positions supporting our continued growth. Toadvine has a very team centric culture and most, if not all, employees have an “all in” mentality.
This Chief Operating Officer (COO) position is open for several reasons. After nearly ten years, the current COO is retiring from running the business day-to-day and transitioning into a member of a newly formed Advisory Board. The current President and founding family member will also be transitioning to this Board. The Advisory Board will exist to guide overall strategy, monitor the financial health of the business, and provide independent expertise along with challenging opinions when the company considers significant moves into new verticals. The second reason is Toadvine plans to continue to grow aggressively ($75MM), and the company needs a strong and experienced COO with a successful track record of leading an organization through this next level of company growth.
The COO will serve the organization in a highly collaborative role, working closely with the President and other members of the leadership team. The new President is a family member and has been the sales leader (rainmaker) for Toadvine for ten years. The leadership team will include functional leaders from Sales, Operations, Finance, and Vine & Branch (Toadvine’s sister company for service & installation).
