SCP is seeking to add to its Shore Resource Team (“SRT”). The SRT functions as Shore Capital’s in-house management consulting arm and is focused on implementing scalable and repeatable processes to improve portfolio company infrastructure for future growth. The team works closely with Shore Capital’s investment professionals and portfolio company executives.
· Work with SCP Chief People Officer, investment team and portfolio companies to identify and execute on value creation initiatives
· Develop playbooks for portfolio companies to utilize regarding people operations, to include: best practices, M&A integration, compliance, KPIs, dashboards, reporting, calendars, etc.
· Assess portfolio companies HR functions and identify areas for performance improvement with the greatest impact
· Create an HR precedent database with resources on handbooks, policies, procedures, etc.
· Create HR KPI scorecards for the portfolio companies
· Provide guidance and consultation on compensation benchmarking
· Serve as a resource for HRIS implementation with new system set-up
· Facilitate sharing of best practices and resource material across portfolio companies HR Leaders
· Assist portfolio companies in HR sell-side readiness
· Bachelor's degree required, master’s preferred
· Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR consulting
· Advanced Microsoft skills required
· Minimum of 2 years of experience with HRIS system(s)
· Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
· Ability to articulate and execute strategic initiatives clearly
· Ability to travel up to 50%
· Unquestionable integrity and professionalism
· Strong analytic and business process orientation with the ability to dig into detailed operating information and identify trends, improvement opportunities, and strategic implications
· High EIQ, drive, client service, and team player attitude
· Intellectual curiosity and strong self-starter, who can interact collaboratively, but operate independently
· Acute organizational skills
· Maturity & professional presence
· Flexibility to promote change, coupled with vision to develop and implement “best practices”
· Specific Domain expertise in healthcare, business services, real estate, and food and beverage not required
